Trust & verification

- Photo verification (optional) — separate from the age gate; earns a verified badge on your profile

How we handle your data
- 18+ only. Age verification is required before likes, matches, chat, live, and clubs. Age status is set server-side — you cannot fake it from the app.
- On-device age scan. ZoiVera runs facial estimation in your browser. Photos and video frames are not uploaded to Huzz or ZoiVera servers for that check.
- Minimal retention mindset. We store what we need to run the app: account, profile, messages, safety logs, and session metadata — not more than necessary.
- You control connection. Block anyone instantly. Reports go to our moderation queue.
- Mehram tokens expire. Supervision links are time-limited, revocable, and hashed on our servers.
- Live sessions. Real-time video uses encrypted WebRTC (LiveKit). Sessions are short-lived by design.
- No selling your data. We do not sell personal information to advertisers. Huzz has no ad network in the app.
- Account deletion. Email us to request deletion of your account and associated data.

- Automated and human review for flagged messages where configured

What we are building toward
Huzz is open-source friendly and community-driven. We ship iteratively: age assurance, Mehram supervision, live video, clubs, and stronger moderation are active areas — not marketing promises on a slide deck.
